I will admit that it was difficult to make it every week. By the end of the school day I was beat, but in the end I'm glad I made it. Bonnie, thank you so much for making our Monday night "chore" into an experience that we can draw from on a daily basis.
ReplyDeleteGood luck on the PPR everyone!!!
There were days that I didn't think I would make it. I know we were a tough group, but we were just all tired. All in all, we survived and finished. Thank you for being patient with us. Good luck to everyone on the rest of your adventure! Like one of my Admin says," It's another great day in Paradise!"
ReplyDeleteI still feel a bit lost due to my late hire and participation in class. I hope to see you next session.
ReplyDeleteIt was always hard to travel 130 miles round trip from home to school then night class and then back home. It was worth it though because of your knowledge and wisdom in what you do and in what you have shared with us. THANK YOU!
ReplyDeleteOh my! My last blog. Woo, hoo! It was really tiring traveling after work to attend the classes. I have to thank Margie for putting up with my complaints such as Awh, we have class tonight? And do we have to go? Well, we did attend and now the traveling/class is over. However, it will not be over until the fat lady sings (conquering the PPR). Good luck to all test takers. Bonnie, thanks for a great class. :)
ReplyDeleteHad a wonderful time getting more information on how to succeed in my teaching career. Really enjoyed Ms. Montoya presentations and her sincere interest in all the students. She is very personable and relates to all students really well. I will miss her but since I entered the program late, may get to learn more from her next class. THANKS AGAIN CAREERS in TEACHING for your professional attitude and advancement of my education. Won't miss the blogs though. Respectfully,BLM

ReplyDeleteThanks for classes and shared printed materials; I will conserve it. Regarding the survey, the link does not transfer any questions into my URL, or maybe it's just me who didn't figure out how to open it - maybe next time. :-)

I want to thank everyone in the class for being friendly and supportive. I now have many more new friends (Teachers) out there. I can only say that Bonnie is every bit the true professional. I am all the better for having the opportunity to have worked with her and learned from her.
ReplyDeletePersonally, I will miss each one of you, especially you, Bonnie! I have learned much, much more than I thought possible (although I must be honest, I have never been a great fan nor devotee of Dr. M Hunter!!!!). I wish the best for all of you as professional educators. Keep me always in your prayers, too!! Again: "THANK YOU BONNIE and ALL MY FRIENDS". Oh, I, too, had trouble with the survey.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad it's over! I came to the first night thinking it was voluntary not knowing what I had ahead of me. There was a lot of useful information I can use in my classroom. I thought this would only help me with the PPR. I'm glad I made it through the process. I wish you all good luck in your career's.
ReplyDeleteThank You for giving up your time to come and teach us on how to become a successful teacher. You had alot of good ideas. I will try to use them in the class. May God Bless You.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Bonnie. The class was much more useful that I thought it would be. You made it fun and interesting. Thanks everyone for your input. Good luck in all you do. Teaching IS a great profession.
ReplyDeleteThank you Mrs. Montoya for all your dedication and patience with us. I have learned some very valuable techniques and tools for teaching that are priceless. I would not have learned them otherwise. (Due to time constraints). This was a excellent course to take in a short amount of time. Thank you, again so much for caring. Wish you and all the very best in your teaching careers and life. As we have learned stay positive!
ReplyDeleteMerci beaucoup for everything, Ms. Montoya! I have learned so much from attending your lectures and presentations. You made it light enough at times that, despite all the horrible fatigue and long drive, the laughter alone was worth it all. I always felt better after class. It was also great to hear from all of you, teachers, and hear what you had to say. Ms. Montoya, please know that I appreciate the stories and especially the strategies you shared. You run a great classroom--totally with-itness. Best of luck to everyone!
ReplyDeleteI liked the class and I thought it was very positive and productive. The days were hard because of being after work but I'm not sure how else to do it. The hardest part for me was working Tuesdays because I needed to get everything prepared over the weekend for two instructional days. When I got home from Monday night I would usually just crash.
ReplyDeleteI also appreciated how Bonnie would stay after class to answer questions and give us honest feedback and answers.
Thank You for all your suggestions and stategies. I am Ready for the PPR Thanks!!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for everything Bonnie! I am especially thankful for all the materials to review before taking my PPR exam!! Also, I was able to pick up soem great ideas to use in my classroom!! Thanks again!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the guidance and quick tips!!!

ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the training, although I was often exhausted and really did not want to go to class, but once I got there it was motivating. Thank you for all the support and valuable information you provided. I was able to take what I learned in class and apply it in the classroom. The class was an assest to my career. Thank you and best wishes always.
May God bless you, Doctor-to-Be Bonnie Montoya.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, "pthincctx": I can't believe you'll miss "Bonnie" more than you will miss me! Maybe it's because you won't have to "miss" me--'cause we're friend-like now and we'll be hangin' out!
Oh yes, "pthincctx": unlike you, I didn't have trouble with the survey.
Thanks for all the insight and ideas! It really was a very good experience that I think most new teachers should experience!
ReplyDeleteThanks for all your help, Bonnie, take care.
ReplyDeleteThank you for all the information that you shared with us. It was refreshing to talk to someone who was open and honest about the teaching profession. I enjoy every day that I come to work and even though there are rough patches I will always remember your "positive plug." :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you Bonnie for putting up with us and teaching us despite our disgruntled middle school student attitude at times : )
ReplyDeleteThis class was a little tough to get through, but not because of you, just because of the overwhelming stress of being a first year teacher!
Thanks again for all you did for us.
Thank you for sharing your passion for teaching with all of us. It was very refreshing to see the respect you command for our profession. (It's Official I can't type)Thank you, Cati Garza
ReplyDeleteI must say it is great to be over with this portion of the training, but it was enjoyable because of you and my classmates. Thank you for everything!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed working with my fellow teachers. Good Luck, God Bless and Happy Teaching!!!!
ReplyDeleteI liked the time I spent in the class. I wish the best of luck to everybody in their new career.
ReplyDeleteMrs.Spear
ReplyDeleteThanks for everything. Hope everbody has a great year.
Thank You Bonnie for being so accessible and for being a great mentor to us.
ReplyDeleteBonnie thank you so much for everything. You made it better with your positive and professional attitude! B is for Bonehead, no fair using the BlackBerry prayer, and if I ever say "crap" in the classroom, my first thought will be of you!
ReplyDeleteBonnie, thanks for all your hard work and effort you put into teaching us what to expect of the PPR and strategies we could use in the classroom. It was a great experience. I will be contacting you soon so that you can help me with my resume. Thanks again
ReplyDeleteBonnie,
ReplyDeleteThank you for all you put in to making this class valuable for all of us! You are a true professional and you treated us like professionals as well! I will miss seeing you but it is nice to know that we are one step closer to finally being "official"!! You are wonderful! I appreciate all you've done. I'll let you know how the PPR goes! I'm scheduled for March 2nd! Take care!
Mrs. Montoya,
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for all of your support and encouragement!! You did a great job making this class interesting and I enjoyed your group activities. Good luck everyone on the PPR exam.
Thank you very Much Mrs. Montoya
ReplyDeleteI am so glad that the class is over. I will not have to hear Adriana complain about attending class she got over it after we were there. We found that every time we went there was some information we needed to know. Bonnie I have learned a lot and I hope you continue to help other teachers. I will miss you guy’s good luck on your test!
ReplyDeleteI’m glad I’m finally done with all of my blogs.
ReplyDeleteGood luck & God Bless! Next year will be a whole lot better!
ReplyDeleteThank you for everything, Bonnie! You are a very intelligent woman.
ReplyDeleteThanks for everything.
ReplyDeleteGood luck!
Really enjoyed the class and got to meet some great people! Thanks!
