  1. I will admit that it was difficult to make it every week. By the end of the school day I was beat, but in the end I'm glad I made it. Bonnie, thank you so much for making our Monday night "chore" into an experience that we can draw from on a daily basis.

Good luck on the PPR everyone!!!

  2. There were days that I didn't think I would make it. I know we were a tough group, but we were just all tired. All in all, we survived and finished. Thank you for being patient with us. Good luck to everyone on the rest of your adventure! Like one of my Admin says," It's another great day in Paradise!"

  3. I still feel a bit lost due to my late hire and participation in class. I hope to see you next session.

  4. It was always hard to travel 130 miles round trip from home to school then night class and then back home. It was worth it though because of your knowledge and wisdom in what you do and in what you have shared with us. THANK YOU!

  5. Oh my! My last blog. Woo, hoo! It was really tiring traveling after work to attend the classes. I have to thank Margie for putting up with my complaints such as Awh, we have class tonight? And do we have to go? Well, we did attend and now the traveling/class is over. However, it will not be over until the fat lady sings (conquering the PPR). Good luck to all test takers. Bonnie, thanks for a great class. :)

  6. Had a wonderful time getting more information on how to succeed in my teaching career. Really enjoyed Ms. Montoya presentations and her sincere interest in all the students. She is very personable and relates to all students really well. I will miss her but since I entered the program late, may get to learn more from her next class. THANKS AGAIN CAREERS in TEACHING for your professional attitude and advancement of my education. Won't miss the blogs though. Respectfully,BLM

  9. Thanks for classes and shared printed materials; I will conserve it. Regarding the survey, the link does not transfer any questions into my URL, or maybe it's just me who didn't figure out how to open it - maybe next time. :-)

  10. I want to thank everyone in the class for being friendly and supportive. I now have many more new friends (Teachers) out there. I can only say that Bonnie is every bit the true professional. I am all the better for having the opportunity to have worked with her and learned from her.

  11. Personally, I will miss each one of you, especially you, Bonnie! I have learned much, much more than I thought possible (although I must be honest, I have never been a great fan nor devotee of Dr. M Hunter!!!!). I wish the best for all of you as professional educators. Keep me always in your prayers, too!! Again: "THANK YOU BONNIE and ALL MY FRIENDS". Oh, I, too, had trouble with the survey.

  12. I'm glad it's over! I came to the first night thinking it was voluntary not knowing what I had ahead of me. There was a lot of useful information I can use in my classroom. I thought this would only help me with the PPR. I'm glad I made it through the process. I wish you all good luck in your career's.

  15. Thank you Mrs. Montoya for all your dedication and patience with us. I have learned some very valuable techniques and tools for teaching that are priceless. I would not have learned them otherwise. (Due to time constraints). This was a excellent course to take in a short amount of time. Thank you, again so much for caring. Wish you and all the very best in your teaching careers and life. As we have learned stay positive!

  16. Merci beaucoup for everything, Ms. Montoya! I have learned so much from attending your lectures and presentations. You made it light enough at times that, despite all the horrible fatigue and long drive, the laughter alone was worth it all. I always felt better after class. It was also great to hear from all of you, teachers, and hear what you had to say. Ms. Montoya, please know that I appreciate the stories and especially the strategies you shared. You run a great classroom--totally with-itness. Best of luck to everyone!

  17. I liked the class and I thought it was very positive and productive. The days were hard because of being after work but I'm not sure how else to do it. The hardest part for me was working Tuesdays because I needed to get everything prepared over the weekend for two instructional days. When I got home from Monday night I would usually just crash.

I also appreciated how Bonnie would stay after class to answer questions and give us honest feedback and answers.

Thank you so much for the training, although I was often exhausted and really did not want to go to class, but once I got there it was motivating. Thank you for all the support and valuable information you provided. I was able to take what I learned in class and apply it in the classroom. The class was an assest to my career. Thank you and best wishes always.

  22. May God bless you, Doctor-to-Be Bonnie Montoya.
Oh yes, "pthincctx": I can't believe you'll miss "Bonnie" more than you will miss me! Maybe it's because you won't have to "miss" me--'cause we're friend-like now and we'll be hangin' out!
Oh yes, "pthincctx": unlike you, I didn't have trouble with the survey.

  26. Thank you Bonnie for putting up with us and teaching us despite our disgruntled middle school student attitude at times : )
This class was a little tough to get through, but not because of you, just because of the overwhelming stress of being a first year teacher!
Thanks again for all you did for us.
