    My name is Al Morin I am an Adaptive Education Special Education Teacher at Cunningham Middle School in Corpus Christi, Texas. I currently have 4 sixth graders, 2 seventh graders and 2 eighth graders. I teach everything from Life Skills to Job Search I am looking forward to these classes and getting on with the process to become a fully accredited and certified Texas Teacher. I am an ex- Police Officer and Deputy Sheriff but I also have over 16 years experience with "Special Ed. Kids" Last 12 years before ACT I was with the Office of the Attorney General.

I have a degree in Communication from TAMUCC where I was also a baseball play and spent the past 2 seasons playing professional baseball for the San Diego Padres organization and passed up the KC Royals and Houston Astros to begin my career as a coach and educator. Some say I was crazy, but my passion for teaching the game and students is the same as if I were playing pro ball.

    6) I was a child protective worker in Maine where I am from. When I could not find a placement for a teenage boy became a foster parent and took him in. Loved it so much that I took on other children until we moved to Texas just over a year ago.
